A fictional regional universe built in Roblox based on Chicagoland and its surrounding landscapes. TIP reimagines counties, towns, transportation systems, and institutions through the logic of real geography, infrastructure, and metropolitan development.

A regional visual survey of municipal street sign styles across the Chicago area. This project documents patterns in local signage, materials, mounting practices, and design identity across dozens of communities.
About Me
My name is Jamie. I am an undergraduate urban planning student. Train155 is my online alias, which I have used for my work online since 2016. This site serves as the public home for projects focused on transportation, infrastructure, regional systems, and worldbuilding. What began in Roblox has grown into a broader archive of research, mapping, and long-term creative work.

Why This Work Matters
Infrastructure and regional landscapes are often treated as background, even though they shape everyday life at every scale. Roads, railways, municipal borders, signage, industrial districts, and commuter networks all tell stories about how places develop. My work is built around the idea that these systems deserve close attention, whether through research, mapping, documentation, or fictional reconstruction.
